Hey there, {{first_name | friend}},
Back to school isn't just a reset for the kids. It's a reset for us too. In my house, that shows up as earlier bedtimes, earlier mornings, more meal prep on repeat, and my seasonal switch from iced americanos to lattes. Pumpkin spice will be here before we know it.
If you're feeling that same shift right now, you're in good company. This edition is about designing your year, not just theirs.
You're Invited: Your Best Self, Empowered by AI
It's time for a reset for you too.
Join me and 3Be Coaching founder Carla Greenan for a live, virtual session called “Your Best Self, Empowered By AI,” built around finding your own version of harmony this fall. Carla will walk you through her proprietary Wheel of Harmony framework to assess where you are today and where you'd like to be. Then I come in with the AI systems to help make it happen.
I haven't hosted a live event open to this community in a long time, {{first_name | friend}}. Usually the only way to catch me speaking is if I've been booked by your company or we attend the same conference. This time, Carla and I get to call the shots, and it's going to be way more fun. I'd love to see you there!

AI-EMPOWERED MOM
The Case For Gaming With Your Kids with Health-e-Habits Executive Director Jim Festante
This week on the AI-Empowered Mom podcast, I sat down with Jim Festante, executive director of Health-e-Habits and a 20-year tech industry veteran, expecting to learn about AI in gaming. What I did not expect was for him to call something out in me: if I treat the video games my girls love with disdain, they will not come to me when something goes wrong. That is exactly what I tell parents about AI, and I could not unhear it from him.
So I am walking the talk. I got my Animal Crossing profile set up, let my girls be the tour guides, and am trying to be open to games the way I ask every parent in this community to think about AI.
If you’re a gamer, this episode will be preaching to the choir. If you’re not, I would love to hear if you were moved to try them like I was.
Prompts for Your Fall Reset
Prompt 1: Reset Your Morning Routine
Act as my morning routine coach. Ask me 5 questions about my current morning routine, including when it starts, what's working well, and where things break down. Then give me 3 tips to reset my routine for fall. Format the output as a short Q&A followed by a simple numbered list of tips.
Mom tip: Share the good, the bad, and the ugly on this one, even when it stings. I wasn’t able to stop responding to email before I stepped out of bed until I admitted that’s what I was doing.
Prompt 2: Give Your Summer Meals a Fall Twist
Act as an expert family chef. Interview me about my family's favorite meals this summer. Then suggest how I can refresh each one with a fall twist as we get closer to cooler temperatures. Format the output as a meal-by-meal list with the original dish, the fall update, and a tip on how to make the adjustment succeed.
Mom tip: Keep your grocery list open in another tab so you can build it as the ideas come in.
Prompt 3: Plan Your Fall Time Off Now
Act as a family personal assistant. Interview me about my fall plans, then review the dates I share below: [PERSONAL CALENDAR HIGHLIGHTS, SCHOOL DISTRICT BREAKS, AND FEDERAL HOLIDAYS]. Suggest times when backup child care might be needed and windows where we might be able to get away as a [SOLO/COUPLE/FAMILY] trip. Format the output as a month-by-month overview with flagged dates for backup care and any open windows for time off.
Mom tip: If your AI tool is connected to your calendar (like Gemini & Google Calendar, or Copilot & Outlook Calendar), it can pull your dates automatically. Otherwise, just list your key dates in the prompt before you send it.
Know a mom friend who's already deep in her own fall reset? Forward this one to her.
And I hope you'll both join us for Your Best Self, Empowered by AI on August 25.
Until next time,
Sarah
