Another summer has come and gone and I can hardly believe it. While I don’t subscribe to the “you only get 18 summers” pressure, I am a natural maximizer and love to make the most of my time. After a summer of fun in the sun, work in the mornings and evenings, travel and sports (and sometimes traveling sports), I am in the mood for some efficiency as I transition into fall.
So when Allie K. Miller (“the most followed voice on AI in business”) recently shared her favorite two-word prompts, they caught my attention! It made me think about my favorite two-word prompts, the ones I find myself using all the time with AI tools. In case you’d like to borrow them, I’m sharing my list below.
And don’t worry, I have not given up on my beloved role-task-format framework for writing prompts. Often, I find these two-word prompts supplement a longer prompt or thread I have going.
My Favorite Two-Word AI Prompts
You don’t always have to write out a detailed prompt to get help from AI tools. Sometimes, two words are enough! Here are some ideas for you to try:
Dinner options (with a photo of my fridge)
Interview me (quickly becoming my favorite way to chat with AI tools)
6th grade (explain it to me at a sixth grade level)
Automate this (after I describe a process or routine in my life)
Cite sources (I still have to check them!)
Tech support (with a screenshot of some tech trouble)
Pick one (with a photo of two options, sometimes shoes but not always)
Family values (to apply our family values, which I have shared with AI)
Coloring sheet (to turn anything into a coloring sheet)
Find gaps (to help me find the holes or missing perspectives in what I’m working on)
Try one or two this week and let me know how it goes!
